In our Bible story, Peter and John didn't have any special powers. But, they knew Jesus. Jesus had already gone up to heaven. But, Jesus was still helping them from heaven. And, that day, Jesus healed the man in our story. The man had never been able to walk for his whole life. But, that day, the man could walk and even jump around. The man was so happy! Peter and John told everyone that Jesus had helped this man. So, many people started to trust Jesus. It's like that for us too. We don't have special powers. But, when we are doing God's work, Jesus helps us from heaven. Jesus doesn't always heal every person. But, he always gives us what we really need.
