Devotional
For some people in our story, it was really bad news when Jesus rose from the dead. The soldiers in our story were working for the people who killed Jesus. They were on the wrong team! So, when they saw the angel, the soldiers were so scared that they fell over. But, some people in our story loved Jesus. And, when Jesus rose from the dead, and they saw Jesus again, they were super happy. They ran to tell all of their friends, because it was the greatest thing that had ever happened to them. It's still like that today. Some people don't want to learn about Jesus. Some people like doing bad things, and if Jesus is around, it means they won't be able to do bad things anymore. But everyone who loves what is true and right, it's a good thing that Jesus rose from the dead.
