Devotional
In our Bible story, the servant was looking for the perfect wife for Isaac. But who would make a perfect wife? The servant had an idea. He was traveling with ten camels. Camels are big animals. They drink a lot of water! The servant wanted to find a young woman who was so nice that she would give water to the servant AND all of his camels. That's a lot of water! And she couldn't just turn on the tap and wait for water. She had to put her jar into a well, and she had to work really hard to get that water out! But Rebekah did all of that work even though she didn't know the servant. That's how the servant knew that Rebekah was a great woman. So he thanked God for bringing him to the perfect wife. Did you know, we can do that too! If we're looking for a friend, we should look for someone who is kind to other people. Look for someone who works hard to help other people. Those people are really special. And you can be that special kind of friend too. You can try really hard to help people. Then other people will be so happy to be your friend.
