Devotional
In our Bible story, everyone obeyed God. Joseph and Mary obeyed God's laws in the Bible. The Bible told them to take their baby to the temple. So, they went. But they weren’t alone at the temple. God also told Simeon to go to the temple. So, Simeon obeyed and went! When Simeon saw Jesus, Simeon was so happy. And, Simeon told Mary and Joseph some very important things about Jesus. God also spoke to Anna. Anna was a prophet which means she had special messages from God. And she helped everyone to know more about Jesus. This story is a happy story because everyone listened to God. When God told them to do something, they did it. And, you can do that too! God tells us what to do. God uses the Bible to tell us what to do. And, great things happen when we all work together and do what God says.
