Devotional
Some people say the most important thing is our safety. They say, “Safety first.” But in the whole book of Daniel, being safe is not the most important thing. Loving God is the most important thing. Daniel loved God and did what was right. He did what God wanted even though it wasn't safe. But God took care of Daniel. In the end, everyone saw that God had taken care of Daniel. Everyone could see how great God is. So it's a happy ending to the story. We can pray for a happy ending like that to our stories. Jesus taught us to pray that people will respect God. When people respect God, they will want to trust him. God can help them and even save them from their sins so they can live forever.
