Devotional
In our Bible story, there was a man and a woman who loved God. They also had lots of money. They used what they had to help Elisha. Elisha was God’s prophet. They gave Elisha food and a place to stay whenever he came to their town. They didn’t want anything from Elisha. They just helped because they loved God. But there was one thing they really wanted: they wanted a baby. Elisha could not give them a baby, but God could! So, God gave them a baby boy, and they were very happy. This story reminds us that God sees the good things we do for Him, and he rewards us. Sometimes God rewards us right away, and sometimes we have to wait, but God will always reward us when we do what is right.
