Devotional
In our Bible story, God told Noah to build a boat. And, God told Noah HOW to build it. And then, Noah did what God said. It was easy to understand what God wanted. But, it was hard to do what God wanted. Noah had to spend a very long time making his boat. He had to work very hard to make the boat. The whole time he was building, he knew it was what God wanted. But, it was a lot of work. He really needed to try his best. But it was worth the work, because his boat saved his family and all the animals. All of us are like that too. God tells us what to do, and it's easy to understand what God wants. God wants us to love people as much as we love ourselves, and God wants us to follow his instructions in the Bible. But, it's hard to do what God wants. So, we need to just keep working at what God wants, and we need to not give up. Because, if we just do what God wants, he will do amazing things with us.
