Devotional
One of the best ways to read the Bible is to imagine if you were in the story. Imagine that you are Eve and Adam, and there is a snake telling you things. The snake is telling you, there's a really great fruit that God doesn't want you to have. And, if you eat that fruit, you'll be like God, and you'll be able to do anything you want. Should you listen to the snake? No! But why not? It's because we don't know the snake, but we know God! God is our friend. And, God gave us everything we have, and he's always been good to us. But, we don't know the snake. So, we shouldn't listen to the snake. Even if the snake says the fruit is super yummy, we shouldn't listen to the snake. Because, we know that God is good and we can trust God. That's how we can keep ourselves out of trouble. So, let's always remember that God is good. God gave us everything, and God even gave us his own son to save us. That's why we can trust him even when people say we can't trust him.
