Devotional
The book of Ruth is about two people who loved God and did the right thing even when it was hard. Ruth took care of Naomi because Naomi was like her mom, and Naomi needed Ruth. Ruth could have had an easier time if she stayed in the country where she came from. But Ruth moved to another country to take care of Naomi. They didn't know how they would find enough food to eat, but they just hoped that God would take care of them. And God really did take care of them. Boaz heard about Ruth and Naomi. Boaz knew that God wanted him to help them. So Boaz gave them food. And he also married Ruth so that Ruth and Naomi could live in his house. Boaz did this because he loved God. And God took care of them all, and God did great things with their family. So their story reminds us to be brave and do what God wants. If we do that, God will take care of us.
