Devotional
Some people think that Samson's hair made him strong. But the Bible tells us his power really came from God. That's why at the end of the story, Samson asked God to make him strong one last time. It’s because Samson knew his power came from God. Hair doesn't make us strong! But Samson's hair was just part of a promise he had made to God. Samson had promised to live God's way. Every part of his day belonged to God, and every part of his body belonged to God. Even the smallest hairs on his head belonged to God. When a person lives like that, God does special things with them. Did you know, we are all supposed to be like Samson? We don't have to grow long hair, but we can give every part of our day to God, and we can give every part of our body to God. If we do that, God will be with us in a special way too. We might not have super strength like Samson, but God will do great things with us.
