Devotional
In our story, Joshua and the Israelites were ready to fight. They got their swords and shields, and they walked to the enemy city. But the hardest part about the fighting was to get up the big wall where the enemies were. So God gave them a special plan. God told his people to walk around the city a bunch of times. It must have looked really silly, but his people did it. And when they did, the walls fell down. Then the battle was so much easier. Our story reminds us that we need to trust God even when it looks silly. If we know what God said, we just need to do what he said, even when it looks silly. God knows what he is doing, and his way is the best way.
