In our story, Rahab had a hard choice. All of her friends were getting ready to fight a battle. The Israelites were coming. Rahab and her friends heard that God was with the Israelites. Even if the people in Jericho had a big army and a big wall, nothing would stop God from winning. Rahab could have tried fighting against God, just like her friends did. But she decided that the only way out of trouble was to join the Israelites and be friends with God. So she helped the Israelites, and she asked them to help her back. And her plan worked! In the end she became an Israelite. She joined God's team, and God took care of her just like he takes care of us. The story of Rahab reminds us that we need to be on God's team. If we are trying to fight against God, we will lose everything. But if we are on his team, he will take care of us.
