Devotional
In our story, two of the spies trusted God. Their names were Joshua and Caleb. They thought, "God is so big. Even if our enemies are strong, God is with us. He will help us, and we have nothing to worry about." But the other ten spies didn't trust God. The other ten spies looked at how powerful their enemies were, and the other ten spies didn't want to follow God's plan. God wanted the Israelites to have their own land and their own homes. But the Israelites listened to the ten spies. So the Israelites walked around the desert for the rest of their lives. And they didn't have their own land because they didn't trust God. So our story teaches us to trust God even when it looks like following him would get us into trouble. If God is with us, we have nothing to worry about.
