Devotional
This story is about trusting God even when it looks like we're in trouble. The Israelites were in the desert. There was no food and no water. They were getting hungry and thirsty. They thought they would never have food and water again. So they were very unhappy. But God was trying to teach the Israelites to trust him. God was with them. God had fought for them against the most powerful country in the world. And God had made a way through the sea so that they could be safe. They could trust God. It's like that for us too. Sometimes God lets us get into trouble. Sometimes we can be really uncomfortable. And sometimes we can't see how God can save us. But God is always with us. And he wants us to trust him because he will take care of us.
