Sometimes a Bible story is really good for showing us the wrong way to do things. The Bible teaches us that we should not be like Pharaoh, because he did things the wrong way. Pharaoh was very mean to the Israelites. So God told him to let the Israelites go. God didn't want the Israelites to work for him anymore. But Pharaoh didn't listen to God. So God started fighting for the Israelites. God turned the river into blood. And he sent frogs and flies all over Egypt. Then people got sick, and animals got sick. Then a strange darkness covered the land. Pharaoh knew that God was fighting for the Israelites. But Pharaoh still didn't listen. So, many people died, and even Pharaoh’s son died. Then Pharaoh knew that God was stronger, and he let the Israelites go. Our story teaches us that we need to obey God when he tells us to do something. Bad things happen if we keep saying no to God. But if we obey him, we can be his friends, and he will take care of us.
